Lisa Bao, MAT, LAT, ATC, CES
Certified Athletic Trainer | TBI Rehab Coordinator
Lisa earned her Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sports Studies from California State University Northridge. She then earned her Master’s degree in Athletic Training from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center. Her passion for football fueled her career path, leading to work in collegiate football and a coveted summer internship in the NFL. Lisa also gained valuable experience working with both the Air Force and Army. After sustaining her fifth concussion, she dedicated her focus toward traumatic brain injury rehabilitation.
Recalling the helplessness she felt during her own recovery, Lisa developed a holistic and compassionate rehabilitation philosophy. By bridging clinical education with real-world application, she equips patients with practical tools to take a more proactive and informed role in their recovery.
Beyond patient care, Lisa oversees and facilitates the therapy team. She also serves as an adjunct professor for the Master of Athletic Training Program at the University of the Incarnate Word. Her
additional credentials include certification as a Corrective Exercise Specialist through the National Academy of Sports Medicine.
Lisa holds licensure in Washington and Montana and is available via telehealth.
Outside of work, she enjoys championing her two beloved dogs and lifelong loyalty to the Seahawks
